I dont think the weather operates in 10 or 12 year cycles or it can be accurately forcast as to where is going to have good snow France in 2007 Austria in 2008 etc. It's just "one of those things". I do believe the earth operates on a much larger time frame however, juts now its warming up, and in say, 20k years, it will cool down again!?
Where do i start?

"More cheap Stella. Le Forate bar had a happy hour between 4 & 5pm every day...... 3.5 euros for a pint of Stella!!" after a quick search but id imagine it will be much more than that at all other times and places. Expect to pay £4 a pint, if not more.

Then again at Lake Louise you can cruise from nearly top to bottom on an easy run. and theres also ptarmigan/larch etc where easy runs can be skiied by your partner and you can skip down through the trees on a gladed double black! You'll love it im going back for the 5th time on Jan the 9th this time for 3 months:D
