They were quite popular in the Paradiski area this season. Never tried them myself.

They don't have the mobility, flexibility, applications that skis and boards have.

They may be fun for an afternoon but I'd rather be on skis.

I'll be there on Saturday for a week so I'll give you some feedback after that.

I think there is when you are not on the slope, but when you are on the slope don't think about what you are doing too intently - try to use muscle memory.

I'm off for my first Canadian experience a fortnight on Saturday so I'll give you feed back then.

Buying boots is the best and most important thing you can do if you want to take your skiing to the next level.

You are correct brand isn't the important thing getting one that fits you and matches your style and level of skiing is the important thing.

I would probably say that getting your boots fitted at the resort by a good fitter would be best. That way you can test your boots and if there are any adjustments needed you can get it sorted out immediately.

Once you know which resort tell the people on the forum and I'm sure someone here will be able to reccomend a good fitter.
