Getting eight inches overnight brings a smile to the face and leaves you with a contented feeling all day.

Are you certain that you are posting in the correct forum

I'm talking about snowfall, what else could it mean?

No definately not for all. Not that that stops a lot of people passing the expert skiers only signs that really shouldn't!

Santons is the alternative, taking the Solaise lift rather than the Solaise Express.

Tignes Val Claret is a great spot as you can get up the Grande Motte quickly and the skiing around that area is stunning. I've heard all these stories about various resorts being like Tenerife in the snow, its not true, just hype to get the yoofs in. Go for Tignes Val Claret you will love it, been the last 21 years at Easter.

I'd agree, but would not take the bus from Les Dials. I'd take the funicular up and ski La Face down to the Solaise Express lift.

The Tommmuses lift is the one you take on the return journey. It's the Aeroski (La Lac) or the Tufs (Val Claret) lift you need on the way there. Ski the off piste area under the Tommuses lift it's superb .

The good old Ski Carriage Gestapo at Gatwick! Yes not a good start to a holiday.
I had a conversation with Skiworld's head of groups about them on one of their group leaders trips, how the first experience of a Skiworld employee for our members was a negative one.
It does seem to have improved.

Just imagine coming across them early in the morning in the boot room, when you've got a hangover...

Please have some consideration Rob!

We arrange a couple of big trips every year, totaling 62 places in 2010.
We've used Skiworld almost exclusively for the last 5 years. They have been brilliant, both in the UK being flexible and always helpful. And in the chalets, always professional, always friendly and top quality food.

In the past we've used Crystal, Inghams, Neilson and First Choice. None of them offer the level of service we get from Skiworld.

Crystal and First Choice were by far the worst.
Why do you ski/board

Being in the mountains is a privilege, being there with the great friends I've made over the last decade is a delight.
A lot of people have mentioned the freedom, I have to agree. Free-ride isn't just a marketing buzz word, it really means something.
It's the challenge of the steep and the deep.
Small mountain restaurants and tucked away villages.
Getting the miles under your skis.

Besides, it's the most fun you can have with all your clothes on!

If you're looking for plenty of challenging skiing there is little on earth to rival St Anton.
