snap. although I won't be going to the snowdome until next year.

I feel like I've got an eternity to wait  So if I get the all clear from the consultant early enough I may try and sneak a trip in earlier.

tignes

oooooo, definitely go for it! tignes is fantastic for snow and beautifully surrounded by mountains. nightlife leaves a lot to be desired but don't let that put you off because you'll find/make your own with your workmates.

may see you in april by which time you'll be skiing like an expert!

Snowboarding lessons - bad experience

I always wondered... when I was on the nursery slopes learning to ski in obergurgl I couldn't figure out why the poor snowboarders where on this short, steep slope. it looked difficult to someone who knew no better but it was obviously what they needed. explains a lot!

DOH!

having re-read my post this morning it sounds quite harsh and probably exactly the sort of thing you were talking about... sorry juliet  [darn that rose wine!]

in all seriousness though, these people have helped me through the hardest year of my life with their encouragement, support and advice. It would've been a very different year had I never posted after my accident. stick with it juliet.

love you guys. thanks. gush, gush :P
