I managed to hide my upper body protection (which itself is pretty heavy) in with my skis, a couple of t-shirts and my salo's
Was over-weighted on my actual bag so I had to spread some weight out, was paranoid they'd have a look in but got away with it :)

Hey all, just wondering.. What's the best month to be going skiing?
Location? Anywhere really, but the past two years i've gone skiing in January and don't get me wrong, only two of those days were slightly dull.. one of which was a complete white-out and high winds. All the rest were scorching sun, lovely snow.

But what is the best month to catch the very best of fresh snow and peak sun? :)


Also - An addition to this thread.. How the hell does one learn to ski powder?
I've read so many stories and obsessions on this forum and i'm keen to learn it :)

Hey guys and girls! I haven't posted on here in a while...

I hope this year (Come September 2009) I can take up on the opportunity of working abroad for a season in a ski resort, of course..
I've been keeping an eye on the Ski Jobs section of J2Ski and have noticed that the start and finish dates are of last/this season's.
Does anyone know when these dates will be updated and when a good time to start applying is?
Anybody any experience or any knowledge of this?
