Hi Daisy

there's 26 of us, a real mix of singles, couples and families. last season we had skiworld chalets annapurna I and II in tignes le lac and they were just perfect. unfortunately they've realised how beautiful these chalets are and hiked the price up so we've opted for a cheaper chalet this season.

I'm not sure if tignes will fit your bill, transfer's about 90 to 120 mins from chambery but it's not the most beautiful village and I don't know how much the non-skiers will like it (although I couldn't ski and had a fab holiday).

All that aside, I'd definitely check out the skiworld chalets. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. in fact, our resort rep is a friend of mine on facebook!

good luck :D

I'm very pleased this has been brought up because the old E111 didn't expire unless you changed address so I don't think I would've bothered to check had I not been alerted to it. thanks dave and bandit

could someone bump up the thread in 2011 for me please :D

Caron, repetitions of that pose should sort your knee out.

Any chance of you being ski-fit this season? You were doubtful.

My OH had a second Xray this week, and the man said it's all healing good, probably no ligament damage, and to get some weight on it. He even ventured a view that she may be OK to ski at New Year!!

That's brilliant news about your oh . must be a relief.

I'm determined to ski this season. knees are feeling pretty good, almost normal in fact. I'm gearing myself up for reall-ski then snowdome and then tignes! 8)
