I didn't say buy expensive brands I said by the best stuff you can afford. I do agree that we are probably in a more fortunate position than a lot of people right now (even although sometimes my posting doesn't reflect that). |

If you find a 'by the week' apartment you like ask for a full season let price then negotiate. It will be in their interest to fill it for the whole season without worrying about change overs etc.

If you are not buying the best kit you can afford then you are going to be a little colder/hotter/wetter (delete as applicable) than you could be. I don't see the point.
Obviously how ' good ' kit is can be open to debate but for the most part I would suggest buying a Dare2Be jacket when you can comfortably afford a Mammut (or something) would just be daft. Ach well :roll: |

The rest IMO are Smith, I don't think Dragon and Anon even come in to it beyond being a fashion product.
If I move away from Oakley in the near future I will be moving to Smith, no where else. |
