With your current winning streak, you should definitely do the lottery this week!
Good luck with the interviews. |

I gave you a star because I enjoyed your review. Couple of questions - how much are lift passes, and how did you organise your holiday ie did you go with a tour op or did you do diy?

If it was me, I would just buy some when I got there, and worry about the money after the holiday. Better than not being able to ski. Intersport were having a sale last week.
Alternatively, could you hire some in resort? (not sure if you can - I've only hired skis previously) Or appeal to people on the transfer coach in case someone has a spare pair they could lend? (long shot) I saw a guy skiing in ordinary corduroy trousers last week. No reason why not to ski in jeans, if you're desperate. Maybe? |

No we were in the Angerer Alm. I think the Olymp is in Obergurgl, which is a bit further down from Hochgurgl. We didn't make it to the Nederhutte this time. Went a couple of years ago - great apres ski! Hochgurgl is pretty quiet - really just a collection of hotels. Most of the apres takes place in the huts up the mountain. |

Just returned from a week in Hochgurgl. It was absolutely brilliant. We had a real mixture of weather – fog, fresh snow, blue skies and sunshine – sometimes all on the same day! Our hotel was fab, wonderful spa, amazing 6-course dinners and staff who treated us like VIP guests. Loved every minute of our holiday and would go back there again.
