We aren't skiing this year due to daughter having A Levels . Are consoling ourselves by planning a month-long trip in 2020 when daughter hopefully safely installed in Uni.
I have only booked package trips of a week until now. I'm confident to book flights but my question to everyone is what should we look at for accommodation? I'm guessing our usual 4* hotel options would be too costly for a month. But is it likely we could get an apartment for just a month? Won't they be booked by people for the season? We haven't fixed on a destination yet so can be flexible. Also would prefer to stay in one place rather than travel around. What do you all think? |

We went to Les Carroz. It's close to Geneva (1 hour?) Has a great beginner area at the top of the gondola if the nursery slope in the resort is slushy and is linked to other places in Grand Massif (Samoens, Flaine)

If it's ok with Admin, here's the link to the Airstream guy's video (if not ok Admin just delete)
[No problem with the link - it's useful... but you can embed Youtube vides with the Photo / Video button, like this ^^^ 8) ...The Admin Man] |

Did you check with the U.K. Camping & Caravan Club? I saw a YouTube video yesterday posted by a guy who took his Airstream to Bourg St Maurice this winter (AFAIR that's where he was). I can't remember what he said about having full hookups or not. I'm interested in this topic too.
