Harfenwirt and probably the Sunshine. Last year it was Thursday and Friday ~ it's the same set-up. When are you off Goppy? |

Looking forward to meeting up with you that week, and with Nutty,Billip and Moogy the week before. Not the mention Finn the week after. Conditions are great, as usual! |

I really like the paintings of Letitia Lussier, they are very similar in style to an artist/skier friend who I learned a lot from.
However she isn't in her 70s, she is in her 50s. I was thinking that she is a bit restricted in the choice of her Alpine subjects, (90% Deer Park), but then I thought, who am I to talk! (90% Niederau!) Another North Ameriacn mountain/alpine painter I like is Bev Doolittle, but then she has her own special tricks! |

Errk, I'm gonna get shot! Of course your first port of call for information should be:
http://www.j2ski.com/ski_chalets/ It isn't just chalets as the site suggests, you can find hotels and apartments. |

Bindings are adjustable to all boots, irrespective of age. Just as well. My boots and I celebrate our diamond wedding this winter! - )

If you know the area that you want to ski, try emailing the tourist board, state the kind of accomodation you want, and give them your dates.
The effectiveness of this depends on the tourist board. The best response I ever had was from the ski-welt TB ~ I received responses sent directly from the accomodation owners. |

I use Skiset every year, even in Niederau where I keep several pairs. Skiset operate at several shops in the Wildschönau, and they are owned by Stephan Margreiter. Eric runs the Niederau shop and Walter the main technician.
Margreiter does a good range of skis. I can't comment about particular skis. My method is to pay the lowest price, helped by the J2ski discount, but I always get a decent pair of skis! And then if I want to change them during the week, that never seems to be a problem! |

Ouch! I often have a chuckle about those who think there is only one way to ski. I asked the question of one such person ~ In forty years time, will your style be accepted as the norm? I have learned at least 10 different styles/techniques, (OK, I have been at it longer...), and I still use several of them, depending on conditions ,or how I am feeling. I do feet apart and together ~ my videos show that. For the past two years, I have been working on a modification to a style, holding back the final part of the leg extension during the transition, then shooting the skis away on the turn. My ski buddies like it, and said it gives the effect of floating. When I get it right, it feels great. So, my humble opinion is that we have to open our minds about what we can do. |
