Ordered my ski hire with skiset last night.
I really fancy trying the fischer progressor 700 or the rossignol zenith z76 aramid basalt TPI2(why the long name?!!)for my week in niederau.
Are they going to have these paticular ski's in stock or will they offer me the equivilant HEAD,K2,atomic ski?..i dont want them...i want the fischer or rossignol ski's
All the skiset hire pages for all resorts seem to show these ski's and am thinking they are just a representative type of skis that might be available in any given resort. ????? feeling anxious now :?

Hi Moogy, it might be worth your time contacting them direct in the shop. I notice that in some of the Skiset online shops (try booking for Kitzbuhel as an example) it actually allows you to select a particular model for booking, not just the generic type.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Get in touch directly by phone or e mail right now!!!Check what they have to offer.
If not suitable and there are other shops that offer what you want at a sensible price then cancel the skiset order - I'm sure this should be possible under the normal cooling off period for online purchases.

Intersport all the way ;)
Booked mine when there was no snow and they were doing obscene discounts over and above the usual online discounts....risky, thats me ;)

I get intersport offers which come in good and skiset offers likewise.
A conundrum this year as I don't know which to choose
I'm going to interogate the two shops before deciding based on what skis they have I am interested in and how many free swaps per week

Tbh Andy, I find them much of a muchness. I stumbled across the "Flash Sale" they had in November when they were probably taking a lot of orders for roller blades...I decided that as we had the Snow Dance booked in that I would get the skis knowing that the snow would arrive...
It hasnt stopped arriving since :)
Oooooo I am excited.
weeeeeeee!!!! <<< should that be my strap line?

I use Skiset every year, even in Niederau where I keep several pairs. Skiset operate at several shops in the Wildschönau, and they are owned by Stephan Margreiter. Eric runs the Niederau shop and Walter the main technician.
Margreiter does a good range of skis. I can't comment about particular skis. My method is to pay the lowest price, helped by the J2ski discount, but I always get a decent pair of skis! And then if I want to change them during the week, that never seems to be a problem!
