Loads of bumps in La Plagne this week.

It's different, it suits some better than St Anton. For what I want from my skiing, St Anton wins hands down. |

Cascades in Val Thorens is usually reliable later in the season. Being high they stay in pretty good condition too.

All offer great skiing, base your decision on which one you can get the best deal on. Would choose Arc2000 over 1950.

I went to Mayrhofen last March, have to say if we went back it would be in January. Warm temperatures killed the lower slopes. Best skiing was up the road on the Hintertux glacier (on same lift pass) with skiing above 3200m.

The Petzl Tikka range are very reliable. I've used one for angling for years. It ended up in the bottom of my freezer once for a couple of weeks, still worked perfectly!

It won't be as simple as that in France, unless you are French.... |

The snow in Val Thorens had a orange hue to it once while we were there several years ago, guess that was the same time Admin mentions. Looked very odd.
