Hey at least it was a brandy. In Courcheval, someone tried to charge me 25 euros for a damn Orangina :shock:

It was quite amusing to see, but at the weekend the place was busy with new skiers, by the Monday the place was deserted, and stayed that way the rest of the week. You would have thought they would have learnt their lesson.

I have done this sort of thing for years, but sadly it seems that the airlines are starting to get a bit anti this.

I have not flown with skis for the last 3 years, and that was to Canada, but can anyone comment on more recent seasons in Europe. Are the airlines starting to try and stop this practice?

I see that a lot of TO conditions specifically tell you not to do this now.
