The interview's in Somerset so I'll be driving from London the night before! I will however make sure they know that I rescheduled a skiing holiday for the sake of the interview, in case I look tired...Shall I wear my my bobble hat and goggles to the interview so they can really see how I managed to get there by the skin of my teeth?!!!

Well folks, I've just been shortlisted for another job and the interview is on the 12th of Jan the day after I get back from my re-scheduled ski holiday in ADH...

Do you think that 5 days skiing will be good preparation for two interviews?

There are four of us going to les Menuires in a couple of weeks and one is a complete beginner so has booked a beginners ski pass/lesson package. Does anyone know the extent of the area that she will be able to access.

We would like to stay together as a group in the afternoons when she is not having lessons and we are happy to stay with her on greens and blues as we will be able to have a blast in the mornings, but I am a bit worried now that Les Menuires has a dedicated area for beginners and that it won't be possible.

Does anybody know ?

I must say that it's not only early, or last minute when you get deals. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed when browsing that there were packages to St Anton for £399 (various term time weeks throughout the season). This was exactly the same holiday I paid about £700 for a few years ago. A couple of hours later I decided to book it and when I went back to the website it had gone up to £769 and some weeks were sold out.

I've just looked again...all weeks left are now over £1000pp

FQ! My friend would be mortified! How would you feel if you had this as an issue?

Well it's a small world, I think I know his sister:

She ski's too, but chooses to buy 3 pairs at a time, to save confusion.
Where am I?
