At the moment all rooms in the Hotel Christina have now been filled.

That is 26 to Alpe D'Huez in January.

My plan to increase the number this year has been blown out the window
:(
Mind you - the hotel has run out of rooms!
I had a Lada Niva when I lived in the mountains :)
Dusting off snow at resort level now :)

More higher up.....
I'm using this for a piste map.

Seems better than the formal ADH ones.

Still one room vacant - twin, or share, or even a single (would have to check and juggle for a single but do ask, more expensive of course).
93 days to go
I'd be thinking about real practicalities.
Somewhere for skis? Long enough hatchback or estate to throw them in for a short journey? Easier than a roof rack.
Also; tyres - suitable for chains? Might only need chains once but when you do.....
And endorse other comments about snow tyres - a no brainer.
One twin room still available as either a twin or as room share.

About £800 all in per person (depending on travel etc.)

Hotel Christina - top of the village, on the piste....

This is the J2Ski Holiday talked about here .......

Just wanted to see if any new readers may read this thread rather than the main one.
We will lose the room at the end of November when final money and all that becomes due. The operator is holding it for us at the moment.

An ideal opportunity for a single skier to join a fun and relaxed group of all sorts of skiers.

Up date .......

So we now have 25 going to Alpe D'Huez.
One room left - a twin.

There is no reason why if there is a single skier out there looking for a room share we can't get that to work.
Probably best to make the room single sex mind :)
What has worked before is to link a couple of people who would like to join us together into a twin room.

So - anyone interested send me a PM or post on here and we will see what we can do.

Details on the first page .......

I never realised that my legs would be a marketing tool to attract new skiers to our group!!!!!!!
Just over 100 days to go!
A recap for new readers.......
This is a group ski/boarding trip to Alpe D'Huez on January 30th 2016 for a week,
Staying in the Hotel Christina, half board - which is right on the piste towards the top of the resort.

24 booked so far - with a real mix of ages and experience.
No first timers this year yet - but in past years newcomers have been well looked after.

A mid-priced holiday, cost summary on the first page ( https://www.j2ski.com/ski-chat-forum/posts/list/15996.page ) - basically; hotel and airport transfer then arrange own travel. People are flying from all over the place, coming by train and self-driving.

Rooms - I know we have a twin available and a single, female share.
Possibly a triple and a family room (twins and bunks).

If you want more info send me a PM.
