Four Weeks in The Three Valleys

Enjoyed reading the story so far. I envy you. It's our dream when daughter goes off to Uni in 4 years time to spend whole seasons in the mountains. Haven't worked out the details yet - might buy a tiny apartment somewhere, or maybe rent a place, depends on cost. Hope your knee is ok.
Verbier Cuts Prices By 15%

We went to Saas-Fee three years ago and the man who owned the hotel we stayed in told us that everyone running tourism businesses were very concerned about the strong Franc and its effect on tourism. They were lobbying for a weaker Franc, not a stronger one.
 So proud of you.

9 Euros that's 7 quid for a piece of cake! Yowza  I think I'll move over there and open a cake shop...
Am loving reading your posts about the trip Ally.

ski bundle for Alpe d'Huez

According to the Alpe d'Huez website, a 6-day full area adult ski pass costs 248 Euros which is about £194. By the time you add the cost of ski school and hiring the gear - I'm not exactly sure how much exactly but I don't think you'd end up saving much on the £400 you were originally quoted. I've not been to Alpe d'Huez myself but I know that lessons don't come cheap anywhere. That's just my tuppence-worth.
