I was going to add a note at the bottom of my last post asking 'Mr Admin' to protect me from the torrent of abuse expected after my 'tortoise forum' confession. I was not expecting you to highlight it and provoke them!  |

Soldeu New Year 2008/2009 was one of my best ski holidays. (We did originally choose it because it was one of the cheaper options.) There was good snow and the skiing was brilliant. We loved the town too, it was a much nicer base than Pas de la Casa. I did tell you but you obviously didn't believe me.
I will definitely be going back but I would only go mid season to be sure of good snow. I'm so glad you enjoyed your time there Tony. |

J2ski is the only forum I frequent because it is so friendly. I have dipped into a few other forums including a couple of other ski forums and a 'tortoise forum'.  I can honestly say that on J2ski I have never seen anything that compares to some of the outrageous or nasty posts elsewhere. Having said that I can see how new members who are not familiar with the different personalities, may be offended easily.

If it's not too late you might want to find out if Thompson do a learn to ski/board package it's likely it will be cheaper than doing it them all independently. :D |

I have been doing the stepper. I am not a fitness expert but it does seem to stop my legs aching when skiing. :D
