I promised my son I would never repeat the things he has said, so I will keep my promise.........but I never promised my Mum on her latest funny.
My Dad in all his working years was an aircraft technician, flew 100's of times but never a scheduled or passenger flight. My Mum had never flown so he persuaded her last year to go to Scotland and fly for the first time, age 75. When she got back I asked her how it went, she said. 1. Do you know what they took our cases off us and there were things in it I might have needed. 2. We had to wait 2 hours in a waiting room, ridiculous there were planes coming in all the time, but they would,nt let us on, you would think that 'cos there were people waiting they could have let us on and dropped us off on route. 3. When I was on the plane it so so hot and there was no windows to open 4. I could,nt take my coat and hat off 'cos there was no where to hang it. 5. It so so stupid, for the first 20 minutes we had to wear a seatbelt then they said we could take it off, how stupid what if we had had an accident. And people wonder why I am a nervous flyer. Mums.........she does not think she will fly again its so overrated  |
