As I had to cancel last week,I now am looking at another holiday. Not neccessary skiing. It would need to be either mid April or June or October.
We dont do really hot places, I am allergic to the sun, we dont do party central. It would have to be scenic, plenty of walks, swimming nice places to eat. I have been on internet most of afternoon and can not come up with any-thing that takes my fancy. Any suggestions?

I thought of Spain, OH thought of Southern France.
so you've agreed on the Pyrenees :D I've a friend who runs a trekking company there if that's what you're after.
Lots do do round Zell am See, Austria in summer - and if you feel the need you can alwasy have a morning skiing over on the glacier in Kaprun.

How about visiting the Picos d' Europa region of Spain. April would be warm not hot, plenty of flowers out and spectacular scenery in the interior. I'm not sure about the swimming though, unless you stayed on the coast.

Try Crete (southern part)--Plakias, Agios Galini, late April /May and walk the Samaria Gorge. Eat at the bottom, swim and catch the boat back to civilisation. Even in May there is still snow on the mountains and I believe they do ski there
Only 5 sleeps to half term skiing!!!!

Hi RoseR
Why not Austria? In June it is beautiful - weather quite good but not too hot and plenty of activities (walking, cycling etc) to do.
My folks bought an apartment there last year and don't ski - they are east of Salzburg near Bad Ischl. Beautiful towns, villages and lots of lakes and of course mountain activities
Cheap flight to Salzburg or Munich and travel around.
Cheers
