I looked at one trip I was thinking of taking last year and the skis cost more than me...i will not use them either after a couple of unfriendly flights ...

I am sure he will be fine ..my suggestion is Grand Massif ..several resorts and good skiing and an hour from Geneva as well as hospitals in Annemasse-Bonneville Cluses and
Sallanches |

just a note ...book your ski hire before you go as they do charge much more (from the same supplier) in the resort

I was there in Jan ..nice little place .There is a free bus that goes round the village which takes you to the gondola and then there are (or were .I believe they have improved them) 2 chairs up to the top ..not inconvenient at all and ther are nice runs down to the top of the gondola and a nice black back down to the bottom. It all connects up very nicely. The only thing I can say is the little shops in the village are expensive so a car is desirable to get to the hypermarkets,,I enjoyed it there

You have to go to the resorts web site and do a search ..in this case coach http://www.obertauern.com/en/winter/local-info/arrival/fly-shuttle/fromto-salzburg.html but that was my starting point when I did it the first time... |

Part of the Grand Massif ...the lifts are quite good from there ..2 chairs that connect to the circuit ..and some nice runs back down,,don't know about the rest but I am sure someone else does
