What is your favourite airport?

We get to go to some quite challenging and interesting places. Innsbruck in the Swiss Alps, Gilbraltar in Spain and Funchal in Madeira are the most rewarding – there are amazing views out the window

So there you go, getting a flying job bad geography needn't hold you back :D

blimey . so we were lucky to be dropped off and picked up in the right country then!

Innsbruck is my favourite airport . I had a delay once, only a couple of hours, but it's so worth it. In fact, it was my first skiing trip and I fell in love with skiing before I'd even got off the plane!

- swimming costume if you're somewhere with a sauna/jacuzzi

- tracksuit / snuggly clothes if you're in a catered chalet

- travel adaptors

- laminated name and mobile number to put in kids' pockets while they're on the mountain, just in case. anal, I know, but you can never do too much to protect your kids.

- new to my list, thanks to dave mac, a hat with a peak on it to stop the snow getting on your goggles/sunglasses. it's probably a personal thing though as I didn't see anyone copy me!

I want to start packing again now
