fab thanks to everyone's suggestions. the highlight was the Jam House on saturday, brilliant night :mrgreen:

it was amazing timing last night, landed at stansted from edinburgh at 6:15 and then it started coming down! 25cm here in hertfordshire now.

mr a couldn't get the car out of the driveway this morning, he managed to get on a train though which impressed me. lord only knows how/if/when he'll get home though.

the kids have been in the garden all day, they're hoping school will be closed again tomorrow. it's looking likely, the snow's still coming down

last year I think we did 10 euros per couple and the staff seemed very pleased. the year before we didn't give them a bloomin penny because they didn't deserve it :evil:. in fact, I think they should've tipped us for putting up with them!

about £1100 (if I remember rightly) cheque sent to me from insure and go 5 weeks after the trip. we had a bit of hassle at the time but, looking back, they were brilliant.
