yes it's for a full year, worth it as we knew we'd be driving to France twice during that time and the car's getting on a bit now....

It's working out significantly cheaper for us this time because it's half term. We got European breakdown cover for £68 when we drove to France last month, we've booked hotels en route for 35 euros per night (yes very cheap and cheerful but we'll be there for 7 hours max each way!) and the tunnel is £138. It'll be half the price of the cheapest flights and transfers I could find.
Normally I would fly but we had no choice on dates this time. Bloody kids. |

We're booked for February half term (the horror, the horror....) in Les Gets. Can't bloody wait!! We're driving down this year, got a great deal for a ski in ski out apartment for £750 for the 3 of us.....

Ally, both of my big toenails fell off last year  In my case it was due to jumping up and down to The Pogues in stupid shoes at my wedding party  however, they've grown back perfectly (took about 6 months) - no problems at all and there's a good chance yours will be fine. The toe will just be a wee bit tender until it gets used to having no nail!
