I 'm certainly very interested in WWI history and may see if I can find a decent map to point things out. I noticed that the ski school organise guided tours so I guess it should be pretty easy to explore the area. Did Graham Bell not do a feature on this a couple of years ago on Ski Sunday? (One of the ones I missed, sadly.) Ian – thanks for the comments on the video but sadly my computer is a PC rather than a Mac. I'm sure my OH will work it out when we get back, though as we haven't yet edited last year's offering from Sauze, it may take a while...... The forecast shows about a foot and a half of snow for the next few days, so hopefully the conditions will be perfect. :D :D :D |

We're off to Arabba on Saturday - well, we are if a) we can get to Manchester to catch the flight and b) the airport is open (getting more than a little worried at the moment having seen the weather forecast…) :shock:
Just wondered if anyone with experience of the area has any suggestions for those 'must do' runs á la the ADH thread? I plan on doing the Sella Ronda, but with over 1000km to go at on the lift pass, suggestions of places to visit would be appreciated. Also, any suggestions for decent mountain restaurants for lunch and our one evening meal out (we are chalet board)? Thanks, :D Lynn |
