Ise

Try www.whitemountainonline.co.uk who have shops in Walsall and Wolverhampton. They have some nice kit at very good prices. I recently bought Head Worldcup SLs with FF14 bindings for £299, which is a massive saving compared to most places.

Also have a good selection of boots from last year at attractive looking prices.

I've just done the same, getjim. I had a nasty collision a while back and it made me think more about self-preservation although it was my gf who really persuaded me to buy it. Although I like the look of the thing (white, with a broad black band over the top - Dainese) I'm unsure as to how long it will take me to get used to wearing it, having skiid for so long without one.

Its got to be worth getting up and proceeding as normal. If conditions really are dire, then have extra breaks and keep warm etc.until you really have had enough ot the lifts get shut. We all know how quickly the weather can change in the mountains and it may only be a very short time before things improve significantly and, as Tony says, you have a decent day after-all coupled with quieter slopes.
