After all these years, you are finally going up the Tux?
Brilliant. I intend to have a day there over Xmas, although Mrs H has this preconceived misconception that the place is windy, ridiculously cold, bleak, icy and thorougly miserable. I think it can be like that on a really bad weather day, but Mayerhofen has a good record for sunshine methinks.

Just go on a good weather day and tell her to be thankful she's allowed to ski with you.

What colours are in this season?

You do see a lot of "locals" wearing Mammut and there has to be something in that.

Haglofs seems similar to Arcteryx and maybe not so dreary...

Congrats on a cheap deal and I hope you enjoy it to the full.

Quietly and out of my way.

Where do you buy?

Kjus is top notch, but outrageously expensive - I don't care how often you ski, £800 for a jacket is ridiculous.(Some are less of course.)

Phenix (not Phoenix) is my personal fave though, but its very expensive also.

Tino - is this all a bit too "Trinny and Susannah" for you mate??

I see.

Have you got enough gear? I'm concerned you may not have and that there may be an as yet inconsidered combination.
