Hi, Me and my other half always go sking with a big group, but this season it will just be the two of us. We usually book it all independantly to save money, but this doesn't seem to be working out too well as everything seems quite expensive when there are only two pepole; can anyone recommend some cheap deals/ self catering accommodation in Morzine/ Avoriaz?
Thanks!

We too, usually ski in a group, but when we go just the two of us, we enjoy an organised trip, in that we always get to meet a lot of new people. The best price opportunities for two people often are lat minute bookings ~ provided that you are not too limited in a choice of airports.

We always ski as a couple, we are planning on booking last minute this year which can work out very cheaply.

We usually set ourselves a budget for the week and then do lots of research with all the TOs.

When we ski as a couple we go catered, lot less hassle and in my opinion cheaper, you only eat out once. You also have the choice of ski hosting if you want to ski with a group, we have gone independent, Ski Amis / Sixt Alpine Chalet as well as with a TO Silverski / Ski World

When I go as a couple I call up the local tourist office, and tell them my budget and requirments and they call me back with place I asked for, buy my own tickets rent a cheap car at the airport and I find it the cheapest way

Not really been one for big group holidays, I like to spend quality family time when I am on hols hence I'm not a great fan of apres ski much prefer a good restaurant a chalet, log fire and a bottle of plonk.
But I do prefer DIY hols much more fun...
