Was 16 degrees here today. Would be happy if summer never arrived now.

Reported to be 60cm of fresh snow overnight up high in Chamonix, and most everywhere in the Northern Alps and Valais looks to have freshies 8)

it fully guts me that i have 8 months of freezer snow to look forward to before my next trip! and its looking like my next trip will be to Tignes aswell which im really looking forward to. never been to a really big resort

unless you can make a trip up to Scotland in the next month or so - Cairngorm still going strong!!

Open Thursday-Mondays throughout May, and into June if there is still demand, and snow (currently still about 150cm at mid station).

can sympathise only discovered the sport myself this year, and totally hooked !!! despite the criticism they receive by some indoor snow domes do help satisfy that craving, well they do for me anyway )still a very very long time between winters though !!!!!!!!!!

Indoor places do serve a purpose.
I myself have booked a 1-1 lesson for my ten year old next week at the Snowdome in Tamworth. And i will be having an hour on the snow myself.
If she wasn't having this lesson i doubt i would go as it generally frustrates me as the slope is too short and it arouses feelings of sadness that i can't be in the mountains.

Snow domes do serve a purpose especially for pre season lessons my only complaint is that they are so expensive.
