Yes they are expensive.

We joined as members, which gives benefits, and booked the private lesson for Megan and it cost £170.

The lesson being £40.

Membership does give 4 free sessions (£100 Approx) and 30 % off all future sessions so i think it is worth it in the long run. I am hoping to use the off season to get my good lady and my daughter up to parallel standard ready for next year.
Skied: Arinsal, La Plagne, Alpe D'huez, Flaine, Les Arcs, Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Sauze, Courchevel, Val Thorens

They have a reasonable summer offers getting the second hour free, I'm not sure whether I could manage two hours on a 150 meter slope though

Plenty of drills you can do to pass the time Wickers. Learn to carve switch, turn on one leg using both edges. Moguls, kickers and rails et al

I quite fancy learning to Telemark soon!

No interest in Moguls, Kickers or rails and I can't be doing with all this free style stuff, Telemark may be an option but I'm not totally convinced, do they do ice carving or ice climbing
that might keep me interested for the second hour

Wickers, ski at Tamworth and you WILL be doing ice carving :D If you want ice climbing, I think AFAIK it's Manchester or London.
