Wow, now they are bling! I bet the shipping charge was more than the cost of my Fischers. :D

Well actually not. A combination of lack of promotion by Palmer, and that many people wouldn't think to buy skis made by a snowboard company. The fact that the snowboard company dominates the podiums at WC snowboard racing, the Olympics, and boardercross has escaped them. So these things are ending up on sale. The 155s were $312 w/ free shipping. The 171s were $400 w/ $20 shipping. I picked up deals on the bindings Tyrolia carve binding for $65, and Tyrolia demo bindings (not the cheap ones) for $65 again. I never thought I would be able to buy these skis, but at those prices I couldn't pass them by.

Sometime over the next couple of weeks I will make the effort to get them out. They have to be rotated with other pairs though ;)

Interesting looking ski, I'm thinking about buying a pair.
With my reconstructed ACL and PCL in mind I'm thinking of staying on piste for 2 - 3 years, what do you think about them as a on piste ski?
I will phone the supplier today but I reckon I'll get an unbiased opinion from you!
I'm not going back on my XWings (coz i sold em) so was thinking about a ski around 160 with plenty of flex...
Do you think they are suitable?
Thanks
