I'm intrigued. What are the benefits of not wearing a helmet?
Pleasure.

Pleasure is a feeling, I recognise and accept that it's important to you, but it's not tangible or measurable as a benefit.

So personal pleasure is not benificial then, personally I find it exceptionally tangible. Using your logic, I could ask the question why go skiing at all? I mean it's a lot more risky than sitting on the couch watching others do it. Oh, I know, it's because we enjoy it.

Tino's decision is based on emotion, not facts. An emotional decision like this can only relate to the owner of that decision. To claim that taking this decision is pushing the "risk-benefit further" has no tangible, measurable, solidity as far as I can discern.
