The BBC report reports the cause of death as a severed Aorta. Not much use for a helmet in this sad incident.

There is a drop down box with the word 'rate' in it, bottom right corner of each post. You can give one star if you think the post is poor and up to five stars depending on how good you think the post is. I don't see the point really.
