I got some black salopettes (with elastic bits in the waist so I can eat as much as I like!) for £30, but I've never heard of the make before - Chamonix Sportswear. Is this a rubbish make or what? They say they are breathable, waterproof and windproof, and they're padded inside and they look okay to me.

Has anyone bought any of these before?

Ally

I skied in these all week, and they seemed absolutely fine to me. And no-one came up to me to complain about my lack of fashion. So I reckon they were a bargain :D

Ian, I didn't think there was anything wrong with D2B anyway, at least it does have a logo - I don't think my sallopettes did :D

£20 was a real bargain - did you get them in TK Maxx as well?

Well you're very lucky they fitted - remember what happened when I bought my D2B trousers on the internet - maybe it's because you're so nice and slim now :D

Well you wouldnt find me using Chamonix gear, thanks.
Some of the D2B stuff is a lot nicer than it used to be, and they do make the odd really smart item, a bit like Trespass, but you wouldn't buy it if you weren't looking for stuff on the cheapy cheap cheap.

Went shopping in TK at the weekend, spent a fortune but no ski wear. They had some really nice design D2B jackets for £22, but I still managed to resist.
