Got some long sleeved tops and shoes only £1 or £2 each - they are having a final clearance sale. Ski Jackets not reduced yet but not much in there I like left now.
That has to be bargain of the season. Orage are a good make too, very good.

Tony H Now I want a bright green jacket to go with them like the one Mrs H was wearing in your LDA photos - what make is it ??
Its a Bonfire jacket from 2 seasons ago. They still do a very similar model, its got big fales buttons on the front.
North Face also do a nice bright green jacket, and I think Quiksilever do too.

I went to TK Maxx, on Monday, to buy some bigger ski trousers

I got some black salopettes (with elastic bits in the waist so I can eat as much as I like!) for £30, but I've never heard of the make before - Chamonix Sportswear. Is this a rubbish make or what? They say they are breathable, waterproof and windproof, and they're padded inside and they look okay to me.

Has anyone bought any of these before?

No, not bought them but familiar with them having seen a lot of them this season in TK. Ask yourself why there is loads of Chamonix stuff in their stores.....because it doesnt sell elsewhere.
It will do a job, but its not great stuff and not particularly fashionable, but for £30 for sallos, you have done alright.

Thanks Tony :D
I will let you know what I think of them when I get back.

We got some of their merino wool ski socks as well, and my daughter got some very cheap extremely fancy make-up (I have no idea what it was because I have never worn any sort of make-up) and ditto sunglasses - so she is happy :D

Who's merino wool socks?
I got some in TK before Xmas, 2 pairs for £9 and they were superb to ski in and left no cheesy smell or made me sweat.
A very good purchase indeed.
