Thanks Tony, that sounds like four trips  or three planned and one flexy. Still you can't take it with you so enjoy it while you can. Thats my motto. We would jump at the Arlberg but with four skiers in our party it becomes mega expensive and so we are looking for cheaper options for Austria in January. Schladming is looking a good bet at the present time.

Started to muse about next season and the word 'Dolomites' kept coming into my swede!

Then I opened my Good Ski Guide at random and the book fell open on Madonna Di Campiglio....

then I decided....Kirkwood in California!

Hi Lota,
Heard good things about both  But California = mega snow, well last season anyway and its on my list, once we have saved enough  Always fancied a two centre holiday there to see the sights and ski. Very nice :D

Bugger the snow, the bikes now out started every other day to let my poor old legs recuperate
this week six miles, hopefully build the milage up as the summer months pass by.

Never mind Wickers, you'll soon perk up. Here's something for next winter, I took this morning. Yes, that is a sprinkling of fresh snow on the rocks. :D

Ian, is that how you keep fit for skiing or do you just like to ride your bike in the Norfolk Country Side?

I started about three years ago just to try and keep the weight down and strengthen the legs for skiing, last summer with the company start up I did not cycle at all and I did notice the difference skiing this year, legs were not as strong and I had more aches and pains in the legs so this year I am starting a new and I hoping to get a tad slimmer and fitter.
