The Slovenian ski resort of Stari Vrh is part of the Bohinj Ski Area with access to 92 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Stari Vrh itself (5 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Bohinj ski resorts of Bled, Kobla, Kranjska Gora, Krvavec, Soriska Planina and Vogel.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 6 Ski Lifts of Stari Vrh are able to uplift 6,300 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are three airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Stari Vrh are perfectly feasible. Ljubljana Airport and Zagreb Airport are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
