Spital's main ski area is accessed by the Wurzeralm funicular which carries 1200 skiers per hour to the Teichlboden plateau at 1370m where there are nursery slopes and a nordic circuit. The skiing is part of the 26-lift Pyhrn-Priel pass shared with Hinterstoder.
