Suspect the 3 lifts open in La Thuile are the ones from resort to the bowl, ie the Gondola, Chas Dura and the small lift to B37.

Pila has about 70kms of slopes, a couple of decent blacks, a dozen or so "Italian reds" and the rest blues. Ok for cruising but you will ski it out in 3 days. The Aosta lift pass gives you 2 days in the other Aosta resorts, most reachable by bus. Try courmayeur and La Thuile

I do hope its quick as I have beer to drink at destination. I am transiting through there mid Jan from a TO new route from Exeter. :)
