A run down Red 19, (Merkenwiess), Niederau

Had planned to do a 3 minute Merkenwiess, using a helmut cam. In the end carried a digicam in one hand and two sticks in the other, hence was a tad slower. I think you get a sensation of the run, though....

take away the &feature=channel from the end then put the 'youtube' tags around your link...

In slow motion too! What a vid

That's a great video Dave, I especially liked it when you overtook everyone and it looked like they were standing still because you were ski-ing so fast. And you get a good look at Niederau as well - the mountains look much softer and rounder than the frighteningly sharp looking French ones I've been on lately.

I'd like to see one of you ski-ing though. Can't you ask one of your ski companions to video you?

Thanks again for the video,

Ally
I really enjoyed that ....gave me the feeling that I was there....wish I was
Theres nothing there?
Great video, conditions look pristine...a suggestion, hook camera to pole, and carry pole on your side or tucked under your arm, will get you in the frame and the slopes, even better perspective since clearly you are a good skier and the filming was done with a rather steady hand. nice stuff.
Skiing is good for the soul!
What video?
