Nice skiing Dave, quite classical your style, clearly you've been a long time and are an expert.
Skiing is good for the soul!
Dave, have just showed husband your vid. and he is very impressed. we have just returned from Niederau and he also managed a run down red 19, quite pleased with himslf at probably twice the time it took you. Great video, what speed do you think you travelled at.

Thank you Dusty, a long time ~ I agree. Expert? I have a long way to go. I work all year studying technique, and when skiing, practise every day, and have no shame in tapping up those better than me.

You were in Niederau last week? I didn't realise, else we could have met up. I returned yesterday, after 3 weeks fantastic skiing, with a great group of friends for 2 weeks, and solo the final week. You will have had great skiing too, including 3 clear sunny days to end with.

My normal speed is on the 60kph mark, and about 65kph on the steeps/jump. Carrying the camera, speed was 50kph. Best speed was 69kph on 19 January this year. Most visitors would take 10/20 minutes, plus time if they stop.

Knowing a run well does help!
A bit of fun on the speed gun. The run is well used by several teams, in the week leading up to the Hahnemkam.
