Sadly only 1 week this year. Too many other things on to get away.
However next year may be different.
Youngest off to Uni and the elder one has just accepted a 6 month Erasmus exchange in Oslo from January so plotting a few weekend trips to the different ski resorts. I'm not sure her motives were purely educational having having had to miss all skiing this winter following her ACL repair in August!

My season hasn't started yet, let alone finished - another month to go until it does!!!

I was planning on going to Söll this weekend. But after reading this, I wil concider cancelling. We're staying in Münich, and I wanted a coupe of days skiing. Is it worth going? Or is there other places close to Münich, that is better?

I believe there is snow forecast for the coming weekend in Soll, but I think it may be on Sunday. Looking at the temps they have had this week, I would guess there will not be a lot of snow left, there will likely be none on the home runs, and unless it gets really cold even the tops will be very soft.
I would go for as high a resort as you can reach from Munich. I don't know where that might be, but the higher the better.
Been a really warm season in Austria this year. I have never known heat like it when skiing. I have had colder hols in the Med!
Hope you manage to find somewhere.

You might want to think about heading for one of the higher resorts, even though they are a little further away. I'm just back from Ischgl and the skiing there is still fantastic. I think it is about 2.5 hours drive from Munich. St Anton would be a similar distance. The glacier in Kaprun would be another good bet.

Quick report from Zermatt. Another mega hot day. We crossed over into Cervinia around 11am and ended up in the main resort at noon. piste conditions below 2,500m were awful. Forget Spring conditions, it was more like summer skiing! We felt really sorry for the hoardes of beginners struggling through the slush. Back over in Zermatt later in the afternoon and conditions were much better. it was actually properly cold above 3,000m and my base layer + shell was not enough. Temperatures dropping tomorrow but still sunny. Barely a cloud all week. Next week is looking very different.
slippy slidey snow......me likey!
