Too sad?

I'll tell you next week.
I need to Ski, and Mrs doesn't want to go so i had a mad moment the other day and now i am going to Morzine on weds next week. ALONE for 3 nights.
Hi Snapzzz :D
I hope you both have a great time, and find some lovely people to ski with, or manage to enjoy yourselves on your own :)
Hmmmm, so if i understand this right..... If i find some lovely people to ski with then thats all good? But otherwise i have to try and 'manage' the situation?
I guess that answers the OP's question then, i guess people do think its sad.....But i couldn't care a less what people think because next week i will be in the mountains and skiing and thats what i love. I don't need to be with anyone else to enjoy myself, i'm quite used to my own own company and more than happy with that.
Gosh, i do hope i manage next week...... :(
Go for it !!!

Thanks for your replies... Having not skied for years I don't have a cohort of skiing contacts to tap into. I am a very sociable person but don't really want to share a room with a recent acquaintance. I will be travelling in term time (hence being alone as my daughter is doing her a levels and cannot skip any time). As for sitting at a table alone......might have to cross that bridge when I come to it.

I don't do skiing on my own but do holiday alone and I honestly don't mind eating on my tod (well when you usually have 2 children who are eiter arguing or don't like the menu eating on your own is a real treat :) )

Ok ! Here's a question ! Is it easier for a man to go skiing alone or a woman to go skiing alone ???? I'm a woman and I nearly had to book a skiing holiday on my own this year as my partner didn't want to go so I threatened to go alone which did nt bother me at all, because I've been to sauze 4 times I have made a few friends and contacts and its such a friendly place loads of English live out there too! So what do you think guys???
