Would you be offended if I said your feet smell and you can't ski? ;)

It's very nice the way all of us in this holiday group help each other - it makes things much easier (and more fun!) :D
It seems we've shared a room before -) was it Wandsworth or Parkhurst & you posted privileged information on a public site.
I've used gel ever-since then

Parkhurst, there is more 'personal' stuff including showers and soap ;)
Anyway, ahem, back to flights ;)

Brooksy likes to play
Seriously on this, loads of flights to Geneva from LHR and City Airport, inc Swiss with free ski carriage or BA with 23kg one bag free.
At 30 euros for a transfer, I'd be snatching their hand off for that and timing flights to suit their transfers if it were me.
Chambery is a crappy little airport. It often closes and many flights into there are charter flights. I believe you can book with FlyBe, but I wouldn't take the risk of using that airport myself.
Geneva may be busy, but its got the biggest choice of flights in and out.

Thanks Tony for your input on this
I agree with you :D
I think Chambery would be okay if several of the group flew there and managed to share a private transfer to and from Les Brevieres, as the travelling time to the chalet would be shorter. But flights to Chambery do seem to be more expensive than those to Geneva, and Geneva is a much larger airport with a greater choice of flights and transfers.
And I was also worrying about what would happen if bad weather forced the plane to divert from Chambery to another airport and whoever was on it had to try and find another transfer to the chalet from the new airport.
I hope other J2Skiers planning their own DIY ski holidays find this discussion helpful.
Has anyone else got anything useful to say on this topic?
