I have had this old debate for YEARS now with my snow surfing buddies! What exactly are the top 10 (no particular order) tunes to listen to whilst tearing up the powder. I suppose it will differ on the type of skier you are, Im more frestyle, spending most of my time in the park and off piste. so here is my top ten!! (very eclectic):

1. Foo Fighters - Pretender
2. Less than Jake - Science of selling Yourself short
3. Propellerheads - (cant remember its name!)
4. Wagner - Ride of the Valkyries
5. Stereophonics - The bartender and the Thief
6. Journey - Anyway you want it
7. Elliot Minor - Parallel Worlds
8. Motorhead - Ace of Spades
9. Feeder - Seven Days in the Sun
10.Foo Fighter - The One

Ok, please keep abuse towards my music tastes to a minimum!!! xx

Oh I love these music threads. Personally, I love my indie stuff, but I do find myself listening to a lkot of older stuff and more 80s when I go skiing for some reason. I think its those all in 1 shell suits you see in Austria.....

Anyway, in no particular order (except the first track), here we go:

1. Stone Roses - I am the resurrection (album version)
2. Depeche Mode - Its no good
3. Doves - Pounding
4. Smashing Pumpkins - 1979
5. Kasabian - Reason is treason
6. Arcade Fire - Neighbourhood #2
7. White Rose Movement - Londons Mine
8. Charlatans - Opportunity Three
9. QOTSA - No One Knows
10. Jet - Cold Hard Bitch

and then I will listen to Times Like These acoustic version by the Foos for a bit of contrast.

Oh I think "Love in an Elevator" has to be appropriate for certain times in a ski-lift...

Can be caught freely singing that well known Beatles tune, "All you need is Snow".

Otherwise Verdi,s "March of the Hebrew Slaves, (Nebucca)"

But should you catch me whistling, then I have usually just escaped a near-disaster.
