Where do I start!
. No Snow
. Bad runs
. Not many lifts and really slow
. Not many slopes and always crowded
. Locals always trying to get money out of you
. My son got his drinks spiked and it was really scary
. Lots of people with broken bones and set in wierd positions! - Don't go to the hospitals.
.Terrible ski hire
. Prices going up all the time
. Very basic
. Can't go out at night without locals trying to drag you in their bars - very tiring!
. Food awful
.Toilets on slopes - Can't even describe how terrible they are and have to pay.
Could think of a lot more, but it might depress you. You will either love or hate it! But if you have been anywhere else it will prob be the latter...Sorry

Sorry!
Did sound a bit on the negative side, but all true.

We did have a lot of fun whilst away, as you needed to laugh about it all.

Also I forgot to tell you about our instructor. The only thing he said to us all week was 'FOLLOW ME'! So needless to say I didn't learn anything and believe me I have a lot to learn!
Nearly, almost, but not quite!

if you want quality skiing dont go in Bulgarian resorts.
It is not cheap anymore-in fact it if more of less the same as in average Alpean resort.
lift passes in Bulgaria in some cases are morer expensive than in the Alps but for far less ski runs.
If you are still into heavy drinking then and only then Bulgaria will work out cheaper.
Problem is that you will find a lot of people like you on few glasses from the early morning.
If you are smoker too-best place is there before they ban smoking in public places in a year por two.
