Try the website Natives - they are always looking for all sorts of people to work in the mountains! Worth a try.
Rather a bad day on the slopes than a good day in the office!

Cheers guys.
Just out of curiosity is it quite tough to get a job out there and get sorted. Is it something you have done.
How did you find the language barrier. Gunna take some French lessons before I go but from my previous experiences the French ppl are very nice and want to help and speak good English.

Interesting.
I do airport transfers here in the UK and looked into taking it into the mountains, but you will find extremely stiff resistance from residents and locals as they try to give all work to locals where possible.
Also you may find the local authority will not offer you licensing to allow you to carry passengers.
You'll also have to have a left hand drive vehicle with all the right equipment for snow - chains, winter tyres, hi vis vests for passengers, etc etc. The list is endless, trust me I looked into it.
You will also be expected to be able to speak pretty fluent french if you're a regular driver at airports and in resorts.
I wish you the very best of luck as its a dream of mine but be prepared for a lot of knockbacks.
Driving for a living abroad is not as simple as it may seem. Its hard enough to get set up over here.

Fair point Tony_H however if burgess-87 just wanted to get a driving job rather than start a independantly as such that's different. A couple of my mates worked a season doing transfers for an established company driving mini-buses in Meribel, I stayed in the Chalet with them all for 10 days, French company but they employed upwards pof 20 UK drivers (all young guys n gals).
erm....no I can't remember the name of it as it was some time ago.
Cheers

Choose the resort, google transfer companies operating in this resort, start applying. Or google big chalet companies in the same resort - they might need drivers too. My friend used to live in Chamonix and worked for Altibus. During season demand for drivers is high. You probably don't need to be fluent in French, but still should have some knowledge of it. It's polite if nothing else.
