OK best we get organised, otherwise the snow will never arrive.

We need a Snow Dance to get the crystals forming. Positivity is the key, far too many negative comments on here about the lack of snow! I blame the webcams, too many people watching.

1. Date - Sunday 27 Nov.

2. Time - 2pm

3. Direction to face - South East ish ie facing the Alps. (Very important, a meter of snow in the Atlantic is no use to anyone!)

4. The Snow Dance - Take a firm stance, feet shoulder width apart. Feet should remain in contact with the earth throughout the dance. The upper body movement is where the magic happens. The dance itself is somewhere between the All Blacks Haka and the Macarena. As long as you do it like you mean it, it's fine.

5. Chant if feel the need.

The main thing is geographical coverage. Isolated snow dances are of little use. We need to have people dancing over as large a part of the UK as possible to channel the energy.

Who is up for it?

Forum name and location please.

My Season Countdown Page

Count us in, micarchie in Chichester (usually London but visiting mum this weekend...). I'll get the dog to do it too...
Sounds good. Dobby in Cardiff (wearing a little lamp on my head for Iceman and for snow fall so thick you cannot see through). Daughters are bound to join in, too.

I could sacrifice a small animal too (so-called "pet" hamster), if that would help. Blinking thing is like SPG from the Young Ones.
New to the forums....but....We are in Val D'isere 10th December for a week with missus and 8 friends...I've been to Val for opening twice and also Tignes in Dec 2007 when 3ft of snow came down in 36 hrs...
I'm feeling the pressure but I would put a big bet on there being 30 cm's in the village and 80 cm's on Solaise by 10th dec...they don't have FIS ski champs in Val every year second weekend in December if they don't have snow.....
Prediction...80cms of fresh snow between 2nd and 8th Dec....At least..!
PS...Have committed full party to 2.pm on Sunday...Worth a try...!
