Skiing

Altaussee boasts several ski areas, with an elevation reaching up to 1,800 meters. The 20 kilometers of ski runs are serviced by lifts like the Loserbahn and include notable pistes such as the Loser slopes, providing diverse terrain for skiers and snowboarders alike.

Altaussee offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Altaussee is Salzburg, 90 minutes drive away.

Linz and Graz airports are all within three hours drive.

Accessing Altaussee is easy, with Salzburg Airport being the nearest major airport, located about 90 kilometers away. From there, a scenic drive takes you through charming landscapes to the resort.
