Veysonnaz is part of the vast 4 Valleys ski area, providing access to over 400 km of pistes. The resort is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and varied terrain suitable for all skill levels.

The ski area of Veysonnaz is in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 1,470m 4,823ft , with 55km 34 miles of marked runs.

Veysonnaz is part of the Four Valleys ski area with access to 412km 256 miles of downhill skiing, with 205 marked pistes, served by a total of 92 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Veysonnaz itself ( 55km 34 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Four Valleys ski resorts of Bruson, Evolène, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Siviez, Thyon les Collons and Verbier. Veysonnaz is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of Siviez.

With ski lifts as high as 2,450m 8,038ft , snow cover is generally reliable.

The longest possible descent in Veysonnaz is 5km 3 miles long and the most difficult run is the 'Piste de l'Ours'.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Veysonnaz is Sion, 30 minutes drive away.

Geneva, Berne, Annecy, Basel, Chambery and Turin Caselle airports are all within three hours drive.

Sion is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Veysonnaz, the nearest major airports are Geneva and Zurich, both offering good transport connections. From Geneva, take the A1 and A9 highways towards Sion, then follow signs to Veysonnaz.
