Veysonnaz

Relatively untouched by skiers until recent years, Veysonnaz is today one of the key resorts in the Four Valleys circuit. New development has not been allowed to spoil the traditional Valasian mountain village character. Located next to Mayens de l'Ours, a traditional village on the outskirts of the Four Valleys ski area. A long ski across to reach the Verbier hub of the region.

In addition to the skiing in Veysonnaz itself (55km34 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Four Valleys ski resorts of Bruson, Evolène, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Siviez, Thyon les Collons and Verbier. Veysonnaz is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of Siviez.

With ski lifts as high as 2,450m8,038ft, snow cover is generally reliable.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Veysonnaz is Sion, 30 minutes drive away.

Geneva, Berne, Annecy, Basel, Chambery and Turin Caselle airports are all within three hours drive.

Sion is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

The 11 ski lifts are able to uplift 10,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 10km6 miles of ski runs, with 36 snow cannons.
