Sharing the skiing above the tree line with neighbouring Chandolin (1936m), St Luc is a traditional village above the Rhone. The skiing is very modern however, with a state of the art funicular and lifts rising to 3000 metres. Guests wanting to be in the centre of the snow action can choose to stay at the hotel Weisshorn at 2337m. St-Luc is part of the Val d'Anniviers pass (partly lift linked) accessing over 250km of trails.


The Swiss ski resort of St-Luc is in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 1,650m5,413ft.

St-Luc is part of the Sierre-Anniviers ski area with access to 159km99 miles of downhill skiing, with 80 marked pistes, served by a total of 51 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in St-Luc itself (7 ski lifts), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Sierre-Anniviers ski resorts of Chandolin, Grimentz, Vercorin and Zinal.

The ski resort itself is at 1,650m5,413ft, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 3,000m9,843ft, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.


St-Luc offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.


St-Luc offers some good boarding and there are a variety of Snow and Terrain Parks in St-Luc.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to St-Luc is Sion, 53 minutes drive away.

Berne, Geneva and Annecy airports are all within three hours drive.

Sion is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

The seven ski lifts are able to uplift 4,500 skiers and snowboarders every hour.
